The San Marcos Police Department made several arrests over the weekend in response to two separate incidents. 
At approximately 8:10 p.m. Dec. 12 police say they were dispatched to I Don’t Know Bar after bar staff called and informed officers a male identified as Edward Eddie Rodriguez Jr. pulled a knife on the bouncer. 
Police say Rodriguez Jr. was intoxicated and was found to be in possession of a fixed blade knife and drugs. Police say Rodriguez Jr. was detained upon officers’ arrival and was arrested for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, two counts of possession of a controlled substance and criminal trespass.  
Police say Rodriguez Jr. was booked into Hays County Jail and posted bond of $17,000. 
At approximately 2:01 a.m., police say they responded to a physical disturbance involving a firearm at The Village on Telluride Dec. 13. Police say they were informed by the complainant the subjects left the complex in a white Chrysler 200. 
After locating the vehicle, police say they attempted to administer an investigative stop, but the vehicle began to evade. Police say they then conducted a pursuit-immobilization technique (PIT) on the vehicle to stop the car. 
 Police say the driver of the vehicle, Dominic Aaron Flores, fled the scene of foot. After being located by officers, police say Flores was arrested and was found to have warrants out of Hays County for unlawfully carrying a weapon, evading arrest and possession of marijuana. Police say he was charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and numerous counts of evading arrest.  
Police say Flores remains in the Hays County Jail with a bond of $217,000. 
Police say a handgun was found inside the vehicle and the three passengers, Asianaye Nicole Polk, Imani Brielle Johnson and Arianna Shaivonique Daniels, were detained inside the vehicle. 
 Police say after concluding the investigation, it was resolved Johnson assaulted another female as well as fired several rounds at the female and her friends. Additionally, police say Flores pointed the handgun at several people. Police say there were no injuries by the gunfire. 
 Police say Johnson was arrested for numerous counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and one count of assault-bodily injury, Polk was charged with assault-bodily injury and unlawfully carrying a weapon and Daniels was arrested for assault-bodily injury. Police say Johnson was set with a bail at $255,000, Polk with a bail of $6,000 and Daniels with a bail of $4,000. 
Police say only Johnson remains in jail.
