Utility construction for Texas State’s University Police Department will lead to partial closures of West Holland Street from Old Ranch Road 12 to Academy Street beginning January 2021.
Road closures will occur in two phases starting Jan 4-17. Two-way traffic will continue to flow and delays are expected.
Phase one will close two West Holland Street eastbound lanes and one westbound lane from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. between Jan. 4-10. Signage will be placed at adjacent connecting streets and traffic will flow through an open West Holland Street westbound lane.
Phase two of road closures will be between Jan. 11-17 from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. closing two West Holland Street eastbound lanes. Signage will also be posted at adjacent connecting streets and traffic will flow through two open West Holland Street westbound lanes.
Excavated portions of the roadway will be covered with road plates during off-hours of both phases.
