The Hays County Local Health Department reports four new COVID-related fatalities, 243 new lab-confirmed cases of COVID-19 and 104 recoveries, bringing the total number of cases in the county to 22,107, total active cases to 1,955 and recoveries to 19,869. There have been a total of 283 COVID-19-related fatalities in the county since the start of the pandemic. The county reports the total active cases in the past 21 days is 2,533.

San Marcos, Kyle and Buda have 552, 708 and 423 active cases, respectively.

According to Epidemiologist Eric Schneider, the total number of received negative tests in the county is now 202,236. The total number of hospitalizations is 1,065 and total current hospitalizations is 52 after five people were hospitalized and 11 were discharged.
