The Hays County Local Health Department reports three new COVID-related fatalities, 152 new lab-confirmed cases of COVID-19 and 67 recoveries, bringing the total number of cases in the county to 23,630, total active cases to 2,243 and recoveries to 21,091. There have been a total of 296 COVID-19-related fatalities in the county since the start of the pandemic. The county reports the total active cases in the past 21 days is 2,243.

San Marcos, Kyle and Buda have 751, 852 and 346 active cases, respectively.

According to Epidemiologist Eric Schneider, the total number of received negative tests in the county is now 212,042. The total number of hospitalizations is 1,122 and total current hospitalizations is 57 after three people were hospitalized and eight were discharged.
