The Hays County Local Health Department reports two new COVID-related fatalities, 242 new lab-confirmed cases of COVID-19 and 79 recoveries, bringing the total number of cases in the county to 22,510, total active cases to 2,129 and recoveries to 20,093. There have been a total of 288 COVID-19-related fatalities in the county since the start of the pandemic. The county reports the total active cases in the past 21 days is 2,129.

San Marcos, Kyle and Buda have 634, 785 and 420 active cases, respectively.

According to Epidemiologist Eric Schneider, the total number of received negative tests in the county is now 204,462. The total number of hospitalizations is 1,069 and total current hospitalizations is 46 after three people were hospitalized and none were discharged.
