A Hard Freeze Watch has been issued for portions of South-Central Texas from Thursday, Dec. 22 afternoon until Saturday, Dec. 24. A Wind Chill Warning has been issued for all of South-Central Texas from 6 p.m. Thursday through noon on Friday, Dec. 23.
As frigid temperatures arrive, several warming centers and shelters in Hays County have opened to provide residents with resources and safety.
Here is a list of available locations on where residents can visit to seek shelter.
