The Hays County Local Health Department reports two new COVID-19-related fatalities Nov. 19, a Kyle man in his 90s and an Austin man in his 80s. There have been 95 fatalities in the county.
The county also reports 66 new lab-confirmed cases of COVID-19 and 32 recoveries, bringing the total number of cases in the county to 6,899, total active cases to 648 and recoveries to 6,156. The county reports the total active cases in the last 21 days is 810.
San Marcos, Kyle and Buda have 90, 266 and 168 active cases, respectively.
According to Epidemiologist Eric Schneider, the total number of received negative tests in the county is now 44,967. The total number of hospitalizations is 414 and total current hospitalizations is 11 after four patients were admitted and two individuals were discharged.
