The Hays County Local Health Department reports 13 new lab-confirmed cases of COVID-19 and 53 recoveries June 7, bringing the total number of cases in the county to 18,911, total active cases to 126 and recoveries to 18,532. The county reports the total active cases in the past 21 days is 264.

San Marcos, Kyle and Buda have 32, 14 and 26 active cases, respectively.

According to Epidemiologist Eric Schneider, the total number of received negative tests in the county is now 172,759. The total number of hospitalizations is 900 and total current hospitalizations is 11 after eight people were hospitalized and five were discharged. The total number of fatalities in the county is 253.
