The Hays County Health Department reports two new COVID-19-related fatalities Nov. 4, a Buda man in his 80s and a San Marcos woman in her 90s. There have been 91 fatalities in the county.
The county also reports 34 new lab-confirmed cases of COVID-19 and 49 recoveries Nov. 4, bringing the total number of cases in the county to 6,265, total active cases to 332 and recoveries to 5,842. The county reports the total active cases in the last 21 days is 460.
San Marcos, Kyle and Buda have 55, 122 and 88 active cases, respectively.
According to Epidemiologist Eric Schneider, the total number of received negative tests in the county is now 37,015. The total number of hospitalizations is 391 and total current hospitalizations is five after three individuals were discharged.
