The Hays County Health Department reports 99 new lab-confirmed cases of COVID-19, 4 new hospitalizations and 29 recoveries Nov. 12, bringing the total number of cases in the county to 6,585 and recoveries to 6,012. The total active cases in the last 21 days is 618.
San Marcos, Kyle and Buda have 81, 177 and 121 active cases, respectively.
According to Epidemiologist Eric Schneider, the total number of received negative tests in the county is now 40,880. The total number of hospitalizations is 401 and total current hospitalizations is 10 after two individuals were discharged. There have been a total of 91 fatalities in the county.
