Texas State’s Army ROTC program held a celebration of life ceremony for Austin Salyer on Friday, Nov. 12.
Salyer was killed on Sept. 16 after negligent gunfire struck through his room at The Lyndon apartments in San Marcos. He was a junior at Texas State studying criminal justice and was also a member of the Alpha Sigma Phi-Theta lota chapter. Salyer was currently serving in Texas State’s Army ROTC program.
