After a loss in the Sun Belt Conference Championship to Louisiana-Monroe, Texas State will have individual representation in the postseason as Yvonne Chamness and Grace Quintanilla were selected to represent the Bobcats at the NCAA Regionals in Waco, Texas.

Chamness will be making her third consecutive appearance at a regional tournament after advancing individually last season and with the Texas State team in 2024.

With all 11 tournament appearances this year, Chamness led the Bobcats in four and finished runner-up at two. The senior finished tied for 28 shooting 8-over 224 (75-74-75) at the SBC Championship.

Quintanilla led the Bobcats at the SBC Championship, finishing tied for fifth overall, earning all-tournament team honors. The freshman fired two-under 214 (72-70-72) with all three of her rounds under par or better.

Since joining the Bobcats for the 2025-26 season, Quintanilla has led the Bobcats in seven events, making 10 tournament appearances.

The NCAA Regional will be held May 11-13 at the Ridgewood Country Club in Waco.
