Yvonne Chamness and Grace Quintanilla wrapped up their seasons at the NCAA Waco Regionals held at the Ridgewood Country Club from May 11-13.

This marked the third consecutive year a Bobcat has advanced to the NCAA Tournament.

The regional tournament marked Chamness’ third appearance at the event, once as a member of the team lineup in 2024 and her second as an individual. Chamness also carded her lowest round of the tournament in the final round of action, shooting one-over 71. The senior finished tied for 46 firing 11-over 221 (76-74-71).

At the conference championship Chamness placed tied for 28 shooting 8-over 224 (75-74-75).

Quintanilla, nationally ranked at No. 107, shot her lowest round of the tournament in the final round firing two-under 68. This led her to climb 12 places to finish tied for 22, shooting six-over 216 (73-75-68) for the event.

The freshman finished tied for fifth at the Sun Belt Conference Championship firing two-under 214 (72-70-72), earning all-tournament team honors.
