The San Marcos Police Department said Texas State University Police will handle the investigation because it falls under university jurisdiction. Officials could not confirm whether anybody was injured.
Original Story
A vehicle crashed through a brick barrier into Sewell Park near the intersection of Aquarena Springs Drive and University Drive.
The vehicle has since been towed and removed from the park. At this time, it is unclear what caused the vehicle to crash into the wall.
The San Marcos Police Department and Texas State University Police Department were not available for comment.
