A third arrest was made Aug. 22 in connection to last week’s murder of Matthew Jacob Rodriguez Jr.
Adrian Terrell Rose, 24, was arrested by police in Jackson, Miss. in a joint operation involving San Marcos Police, Texas Rangers, the Mississippi Bureau of Investigation and U.S. Marshals.
The other two arrests, Jacob Portier, 27, and Jason Portier, 26, were made in Round Rock, Texas, Aug. 16.
Rodriguez was fatally shot in the parking lot of Park North Condos on the 1600 block of Aquarena Springs Drive at 2:24 a.m., Aug. 14. The victim suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was declared deceased at the scene by Justice of the Peace Maggie Moreno. He was then transported to the Travis County Medical Examiner’s office for autopsy.
All three arrested suspects face charges of capital murder by terror threat. The Portier brothers have their bond set for $75,000.
