Two Houston men suspected of numerous Best Buy burglaries across the state have been apprehended by the San Marcos Police Department.
SMPD arrived at 5:29 A.M. on March 4 at Best Buy, located at 1050 McKinley Place Drive, after they were alerted to an alarm going off within the building.
SMPD was aware of a similar burglary of a Best Buy in New Braunfels prior to the incident. Best Buy management suspected that the string of burglaries were committed by the same offenders.
As police arrived on the scene, SMPD officers witnessed a car speeding away from the area that proceeded a red light on Wonder World Drive. As the car merged onto IH-35 North, SMPD pulled the car over.
After they were stopped, police arrested Trevon Deante Marquis Relford, 23, and Kenneth Kenvon Deloch, Jr., 17, and charged them with burglary of a building.
Relford and Deloch were found to have multiple electronics in their possession with security devices still attached.
