Hays County to launch COVID-19 financial relief program

Hays County and the Blanco River Regional Recovery Team will administer a COVID-19 relief program to assist Hays County residents financially affected by COVID-19.
The Hays County COVID-19 Relief Program will provide assistance with mortgage, rent, utility payments and child care to residents who can show COVID-19-related job loss, job reduction or inability to work.
According to a press release, grant applications will open on the Hays County website and social media in the coming weeks. Applications will be evaluated based on need and awarded funds will range from $500 to $5,000.
