The Hays County Health Department reports one new COVID-19 fatality—a Kyle woman in her 80s— 54 recoveries and 35 new lab-confirmed cases Nov. 18, bringing the total number of cases in the county to 6,833 and the total active cases in the last 21 days is 750.

San Marcos, Kyle and Buda have 87, 250 and 158 active cases, respectively.

According to Epidemiologist Eric Schneider, the total number of received negative tests in the county is now 44,094. The total number of hospitalizations is 410 and total current hospitalizations is 9. There have been a total of 93 fatalities in the county.
