The Hays County Health Department reports 18 new lab-confirmed cases of COVID-19 and 11 recoveries Nov. 6, bringing the total number of cases in the county to 6,331 and recoveries to 5,872. The total active cases in the last 21 days is 476.
San Marcos, Kyle and Buda have 66, 131 and 97 active cases, respectively.
According to Epidemiologist Eric Schneider, the total number of received negative tests in the county is now 36,088. The total number of hospitalizations is 391 and total current hospitalizations is five.
