Ellis’s autopsy shows .38 blood alcohol content level

The death of a Texas State fraternity pledge was caused by alcohol, according to the autopsy report obtained by the American-Statesman’s.
Matthew Ellis was found dead on Nov. 13, 2017 by the San Marcos Police Department. The Travis County Medical Examiner’s autopsy received by the American-Statesman stated the Phi Kappa Psi pledge had a blood alcohol content level of .38, more than four times the legal limit.
