Over the weekend, spray paint stating “President Trauth supports racism,” was spotted on campus underneath the Joann Cole Mitte art building. The spot has since been covered.
Additionally, a poster with student body President Connor Clegg and Texas State President Trauth after Clegg’s inauguration, were edited with the word “racist” over Clegg’s face and “enabler” over Trauth’s.
The posted read “Enough apologies. Remove the racist.”
The signs have been posted after reaction’s surfaced over Clegg’s Instagram posts.
The University Star will be updating the story as details are revealed.
