Hays County reports nine new COVID-19 cases, 94 recoveries

The Hays County Health Department reports nine new lab-confirmed cases of COVID-19 and 94 recoveries Sept. 15, bringing the total number of cases in the county to 5,665, active cases to 1,845 and recoveries to 3,768.
San Marcos, Kyle and Buda have 667, 742 and 300 active cases, respectively.
According to Epidemiologist Eric Schneider, the total number of received negative tests in the county is now 25,830 with no pending tests. The total number of hospitalizations is 164 and total current hospitalizations is 11. There have been 52 fatalities in the county.
