Texas State reports 10 new COVID-19 cases

Texas State’s COVID-19 dashboard added Sept. 2 10 new student cases.
According to the dashboard, 96 student cases and seven faculty/staff cases have been reported since new student move-in began Aug. 16.
76 students cases and four faculty/staff cases have been reported since the fall semester began Aug. 24.
A total of 214 students and 35 faculty and staff members have tested positive for COVID-19 since March 1.
The University Star will continue to provide COVID-19 updates as any additional information is released.
Individuals concerned about possible exposure to COVID-19 are encouraged to contact their healthcare provider or the Hays County Local Health Department at 512.393.5520. For additional information about COVID-19, visit the Texas Department of State Health Services or the Centers for Disease Control website.
