Homecoming spirit is around the corner, and applications for the 2020 Homecoming Court along with registration for annual traditions are now available on Texas State’s Homecoming website.
This year’s homecoming week will take place Oct. 25-31 under the theme “Home Is Where Old Main Is.” Registration is required to participate in any homecoming activity.
To participate in Soap Box Derby, students and organizations must submit an online entry form by Oct. 16. The official race date is to-be-announced but is expected to take place the week of Oct. 25. All races will be filmed and broadcasted Oct. 30.
Submissions for the annual Homecoming flag competition will now be accepted until Oct. 23. To participate, student organizations must pick up their flags from the Student Association for Campus Activities (SACA) office by Oct. 19.
Organizations must register their flags on the spirit flag competition website by Oct. 16 and submit their designed flags to the SACA office by Oct. 23.
Applications for Homecoming Court are now available online. Students must submit their application along with a resume and letter of recommendation by Oct. 9.
Winners of the spirit flag competition and the Homecoming Court will be announced at the Homecoming football game Oct. 31, where the Bobcats will play against the Louisiana at Lafayette Ragin’ Cajuns.
