Hays County reports two new cases of COVID-19

Hays County COVID-19 Update

The Hays County Health Department reported two new lab-confirmed cases of COVID-19 May 14, bringing the total number of cases in the county to 219 and total active cases to 72.
As of 4 p.m. May 14, 144 people have recovered from the virus and are out of quarantine. Received negative tests increased to 2,086 with 120 tests still pending.
There has been a total of 23 hospitalizations due to the virus with three still hospitalized, and a total of three COVID-19-related fatalities in the county.
Kyle and San Marcos remain the cities with the highest number of active cases at 35 and 22, respectively.
