The Texas Democratic and Republican parties are holding joint primary elections on Tuesday, March 3. Polls are scheduled to close at 7 p.m. but will remain open until no more voters are in line.
Primary elections are elections held by political parties to decide who will appear on the November ballot. To win, candidates must have obtained more than 50% of the vote or that will head to the May 26 Primary Runoff Elections.
