Texas State reports 38 new COVID-19 cases

Daniel Weeks, News Editor

Texas State’s COVID-19 dashboard added 38 new student cases Sept. 11.

29 new student cases were reported Sept. 11, the largest single-day increase since the fall semester began. In total, 230 students cases and five faculty/staff cases have been reported since the fall semester began Aug. 24.

A total of 368 students and 36 faculty and staff members have tested positive for COVID-19 since March 1. The dashboard states that numbers include positive COVID-19 test results for students, faculty and staff who tested at the Student Health Center or reported positive results after being tested at other sites. Results received from other sites are added to the graph based on the test date.
