Articles of Impeachment were read at the Student Government senate meeting, Feb. 26.
The Student Supreme Court will convene in a review hearing where both sides, the authors and sponsors of the Articles of Impeachment and Student Government President Connor Clegg will each have 20 minutes to argue their case.
Chief Justice John Garcia said the court will then decide if there is enough evidence to impeach Clegg.
“If there is enough evidence, we will impeach him and then it will go to the senate and the house in a joint meeting to convict him and remove him from office,” Garcia said.
The hearing will take place at 7 p.m., Feb. 27 in the LBJ teaching theater.
