San Marcos Police Department responded to a collision between a train and vehicle at South LBJ Drive around 1:22 a.m.
According to Public Safety Communications Specialist Russell Wilde, the occupants were able to get out of the vehicle safely, with no injuries reported.
Due to the collision, the train stalled on the tracks blocking the railroad intersections at LBJ Drive, CM Allen, Hopkins and Riverside. According to Wilde, the area was cleared shortly after.
