Junior opposite hitter Samantha Wunsch and senior middle blocker Jade Defraeye have been named to the All Sun Belt First-Team. Joining Wunsch and Defraeye, outside hitters Maggie Walsh and Nina Moorer, along with senior middle blocker Bailey Hanner, all earned nods to the All-Sun Belt Third Team.
Wunsch finished seventh in the Sun Belt in total kills, with 336 and eight in kills per set, tallying 3.33. Wunsch also landed in the top 10 in total points, with her 404 ranking fifth in the conference. 2025 marks Wunsch’s third consecutive First Team nod.
Joining Wunsch on the First Team, Defraeye also earned her third nod to an All-Conference team and her second consecutive First Team Selection. Defraeye finished 9th in the Sun Belt in hitting percentage, swinging at a .315 clip, third in blocks per set with 1.35 and second in total blocks with 143.
Walsh led the Bobcats and finished fifth in the Sun Belt with 34 service aces. Walsh also finished second on the Bobcats with 260 digs and was also in the top five on the team in kills and assists. The Third-Team selection is Walsh’s first All-Conference nod in her collegiate career.
Hanner finished second on the Bobcats roster with 94 blocks, and fourth on the team in both kills (153) and service aces (19). Hanner’s selection to the Third-Team is also the first All-Conference selection of her career.
Rounding out the Bobcats All-Conference selections, Moorer was second on the Bobcats in kills with 231, only trailing Wunsch, and fourth on the team in blocks, with 66. 2025 was Moorer’s first season seeing a heavy chunk of playing time in her collegiate career and it resulted and her first All-Conference selection.
