The San Marcos Fire Department was paged out to a structural fire at Taqueria El Charro Tapatio, no firefighters or taqueria employees were harmed during the fire March 8.
San Marcos Batallion Chief Jim Montano said that his crew was paged to the structural fire at Taqueria Charro Tapatio, 311 E Hopkins St, about 8 a.m. this morning.
“We had the situation under control in about five minutes,” Montano said. “We had the building clear, so no firefighters hurt and no people hurt.”
