Hays County to offer free COVID-19 testing

A line to get tested for COVID-19 forms, Sunday, June 14, 2020, outside of Bonham Pre-K school.

Hays County will open free COVID-19 mobile test sites in San Marcos, Kyle, Dripping Springs and Wimberley.
The locations, dates and times are as follows:

  • San Marcos: The San Marcos Activity Center, 630 E. Hopkins, starting Oct. 1, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. daily
  • Kyle: Hays CISD Performing Arts Center, 979 Kohlers Crossing, starting Oct. 1, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. daily
  • Dripping Springs: The Triangle, 151 Mercer St., starting Oct. 2 Friday-Monday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
  • Wimberley: Wimberley Activity Center, 221 Stillwater Rd., starting Oct. 6 Tuesday-Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Testing is free and open to the public, with walk-up appointments welcome.
