Earlier today, the Pac-12 Conference officially released the times and networks for the upcoming 2026 football season, of which Texas State football will be featured on four separate networks across linear TV, including the CW, USA Sports and CBS Sports Networks.
The Bobcats will officially open their 2026 campaign against the Texas Longhorns with a nationally televised game on ESPN at 2:30 p.m. central on Sept. 5.
From there, Texas State will play out their first home stretch of the season at UFCU Stadium with three in-state opponents during the day, with the UTSA Roadrunners and the I-35 Showdown scheduled to take place at 2:30 p.m. on the CW on Sept. 12.
Their first regular season tangle with the North Texas Mean Green in 32 years and first since the 2024 First Responders Bowl will be an early contest with an 11 a.m. kickoff on the USA Network.
They will close out their out-of-conference slate with the Incarnate Word Cardinals coming up with a 5 p.m. kickoff on Sept. 26, also on the USA.
Texas State will officially begin their first ever in-conference Pac-12 slate with the San Diego State Aztecs in what is their first of multiple late-at-night games on Oct. 3, with a 9:30 p.m. kickoff on the CW.
After a bye week, Texas State will return for a two-game slate as the Colorado State Rams come to the Hill Country in mid-week action as the date is now officially set for Thursday, Oct. 15 at 7 p.m. on the CBS Sports Network.
The Bobcats will tangle with the Utah State Aggies in a homecoming showdown, set for October 24 at 6:30 p.m. on CBSSN.
They will then head on the road to Boise, Idaho and play the Boise State Broncos at 9 p.m. on Halloween night on the CW. Afterwards, Texas State will begin the final stretch of the regular season with a 9:30 p.m. kickoff on Nov. 7 against the Oregon State Beavers in Corvallis, Ore.
Their last stretch of games will feature the Fresno State Bulldogs and Washington State Cougars coming to town. The Bobcats and Bulldogs will play at 3 p.m. on Nov. 14 on the CW, with senior day against the Cougars is set to have a 5 p.m. kickoff on USA.
The Flex game on Nov. 28 is still undetermined, as is the match-up. The tentative opponent is a road trip to Fort Collins with a rematch against the Rams, but the Pac-12 has the ability to change the match-ups for the league’s best interests. The opponent, time and network will likely not be released officially until at least a week prior.
The Pac-12 Conference Championship game time was also announced, with a 7 p.m. kickoff on CBS. The game will be held at the home stadium of the highest seed. The match-up will be determined by Week 12 prior to the flex game.
Per the conference’s media deals, games aired on CBS will also be streamed on Paramount+, which includes the conference title game alongside three regular season games. A similar situation will occur for the CW, as games will be streamed on ESPN app with ESPN Unlimited.
Texas State will begin their first season as a member of the Pac-12 against Texas with a 2:30 p.m. kickoff on Sept. 5 at Darrell K Royal–Texas Memorial Stadium in Austin, Texas. The game will be aired on ESPN.
