The San Marcos community gathered at The Square to protest the U.S. and Israel’s recent and ongoing joint military attacks that started on Feb. 28.

Participating in a nationwide call to action after the initial strike on Iran, held by Party for Socialism and Liberation San Marcos (PSLSMTX), around 15 people attended for over an hour, bearing Iranian flags in solidarity.

According to the Human Rights Activists for Iran (HRANA), the current civilian death toll is about 1,097 and is projected to rise as the conflict goes on.

“San Marcos residents demand an end to the illegal bombing campaign and to another pointless regime change war,” according to PSLSMTX social media.
