Laura Nunez smiles for a photo outside of Texas State’s Bobcat Stadium, Saturday, Dec. 12, 2020, after her graduation. Nunez served as The University Star’s opinion editor for spring and fall 2020 semesters and brought tremendous energy, passion and honesty to every task she embarked upon. She was instrumental in the evolution of the opinion section, from a place where it was about the columnist’s opinion to a place where it became about the community and what was impacting it.
