Texas State UPD received a report early Dec. 4 from a student reporting of a non-stranger sexual assault that happened Dec. 1.
The assault took place in an on-campus residence hall. The victim is a Texas State student who knew the suspect. Investigators are currently looking into the suspect, who is not a Texas State student. UPD sent out an emergency email to alert warning individuals on campus.
